BEXHILL-ON-SEA, UK – You guys, we are still buzzing! Our Hero Hair Workshop, held on Sunday, May 18th, was an absolute smash hit, bursting with laughter, glitter, and seriously heartwarming moments. This wasn't just a day of hair flips and nail polish; it was a triumphant celebration of family bonds and a supercharged effort to raise both awareness and vital funds for the amazing WOLO Foundation!
Our salon in Sackville Road, transformed into the ultimate 'Makeover Party Place,' thanks to our EHSalon Team. Heroes and their awesome girls dove headfirst into the fun. We saw them conquering hair challenges, creating sparkling nail masterpieces, and even getting glam at our special make-up station! A huge shout-out to Hero Tom, who totally rocked an unforgettable makeover, and Hero Paul, whose curling prowess was so impressive, our team's got a job waiting for him whenever he's ready! Every girl beamed with pride receiving their shiny certificates – proof of their newfound superpowers!
"It was so so sweet," our fabulous photographer, Hayley Smith, said, capturing every precious moment. "The dads were all so engaged and the girls were all over the moon about it! What a brilliant event." Team member Jody echoed this sentiment, adding, "Everyone had such a great time, and the heroes really got stuck in, it was so cute to see."

Our hearts absolutely melted when Mum Cassie shared her feedback: "Demi had an amazing time and said she felt very 'laxed' and enjoyed the treats too. She wants to go back to the hairdressers again. Thank you very much and it was even more special for her dad to get some 1-1 time."
Hero Wayne also shared his enjoyment, stating, "We loved spending the time together, Emily enjoyed painting my nails and loved her head massage when I washed her hair. We had great fun."
And Hero Tom added, "We had a great time. Amelia loved being pampered…and pampering me too!"

Hero Matt perfectly summed up the unique experience: "Spending valuable one to one time with Lily was amazing and seeing her happy little face making the memories was worth having my nails painted and make up done and walking around Tescos afterwards!"
And from Paul, our potential new EHSalon employee, came this enthusiastic review: "We loved it, all learned a lot and more importantly enjoyed taking the time to do it together. Need to get curling!!”

"For us, seeing those genuine smiles and priceless connections between the girls and their heroes is what it's all about," says Emma Hellier, Event Organiser. "We dreamed up this event to create a unique space for bonding, and the sheer joy in the room proved just how much these moments matter. Every laugh and every shared discovery reinforced our mission!"
But here's the best part: all this fun came with a massive dose of purpose! The Hero Hair Workshop was beyond proud to team up with the WOLO Foundation, a phenomenal charity that acts as a beacon of hope for local families in Sussex battling a cancer diagnosis. By raising both awareness and funds, every event helps WOLO continue their invaluable, lifeline support. And guess what? The good news isn't over! We're still collecting donations in the salon until Father's Day, so there's extra time to contribute! You can also donate directly to WOLO's incredible work at https://wolofoundation.org/donate.

A giant, glittery THANK YOU goes out to everyone who made this day pure magic! To our incredible team: Fran, Jody, Laura, Rebecca, and Darcy – you were the ultimate tutors and brought so much amazing energy! Big high-fives to Ria for transforming the salon into the most fabulous 'Makeover Party Place.' Huge gratitude to Hayley for capturing all those precious memories in her stunning photos. And a special shout-out to Bakes by P for the utterly yummy unicorn cookies – they were a sweet hit! (Go check them out at https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61550267446440). And last but not least, the undisputed star of the show: Florence, our resident DJ! Her true Swiftie spirit created the absolute best party soundtrack – it was pure bliss!
