New year, new you? If you are going to have a change then make sure you are looking to the hottest new looks. So what do we expect to see coming next year in hair fashion? Emma Hellier reveals all.

Griege and Mushroom

Mushroom is still dominating the colour trend going into the new year, but we expect to see the lighter more ashy “griege” making waves as we head into spring. Lighten your locks whilst still keeping the matt, muted palate of mushroom.

Bobs are BACK

In terms of styles, nothing is better for your hair than a great cut and 2020 sees the return of the jaw length bob.

We couldn’t be more happy, precision cutting is what we do and it’s such a versatile look.

Where it sleek and straight or with bounce and volume. You can even get waves going just make sure the length is bang on trend right on your jaw!

To keep up the perfect bob, remember to rebook every 5/6 weeks.

Update your updo

Also in styling news we are having a 90s revival, not just the bobs of my youth but the updos. 90s style updos with accessories and spikey bits will be seen at events this year and we can’t wait!

Add your own twist with still trending barrettes and even a claw clip or two as seen by Alexander Wang gracing the catwalks.

Be sure to browse our selection of accessories, including those pictured above, on your next visit to the salon.

Ok so there you go fashionistas.

Get fresh, get ready, mute the colour and brave a chop for the length, wishing you a very happy hairy new year!
